Hey Loves 💓
It's been a while since I last posted. Indeed, I've been very busy due to my law exams... Lots of stress and pimples on my face! However, exams will soon be over and I promise to be on track soon!
This time it's an interview with Monique Farrugia - THE PERSONAL TRAINER 🏃♀️ I hope you guys enjoy reading this and believe me those photos are real...I know her personally!
1) Tell the readers somethings about yourself.
I'm 20 years old and I study law at University of Malta. I work as a personal trainer, gymnastics coach, legal analyst and on social media. I love reading and learning new things. I'm absolutely tea obsessed and an adrenaline junkie. I'm actually quite a tomboy but I was super girly when I was young.
2) what inspired you to become a qualified personal training? Was it hard to achieve the certificates?
I would say my mum! She had done the course before me, and she had urged me to try it out as she knew that I would love it.
I wouldn't say that it was exceptionally difficult, as I already had the basic knowledge, but it was extremely interesting!
3) do you do personal training as a job or only as a hobby?
Training is a hobby and a stress- reliever, but I consider personal training as a job.
4) why should a person train with a personal trainer rather than alone?
When training with a personal trainer, one will be more motivated to work out or finish that last rep. When training alone, many tend to slack off a little. If a person is relatively new to the world of fitness, it's always important to get professional help prior to working out, due to incorrect training postures and techniques which may cause injury!
5) Where do you see your self in 5 years time?
I would have graduated as a lawyer wooo! I don't think i'd be able to give up personal training as I love it so much! However, if I don't have time in the future, I might create an e-book with my workouts That way, it would require less time, so I'd be able to continue it.
6) The best part of personal training.
Seeing people's improvements, and seeing how happy they are is very rewarding!
7) The worst part of personal training.
Having to wake up super early for morning outdoor sessions. But this is also a bummer in many other jobs!
8) How do you keep your fitness knowledge up to date?
Online articles, books and many more books.
9) What is is that keeps you so motivated to train?
Stress! Training is my ultimate stress reliever! I see training as a part of my lifestyle, so I would honestly not imagine myself without it. What motivates me also, is the fact that I always try to compete with myself to accomplish something better!
10) Can you give some tips to the readers out there.
1. When you're stressed, train insane!
2. Eat clean to be lean!
3. Treat yourself to something you like, once in a while.
4. Drink plenty of water (2L+ per day)
That is all for today guys! Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did! Do not forget to follow this beauty🔝on https://www.instagram.com/moniquefarrugia/!
Until the next, Clara-x
